We had a most unusual visitor today! We were sitting at the kitchen table, and right out the back door, between our fence and the neighbors' house... this guy!
He went out front, then came out back... he was badly injured, front and rear right legs. A posse of neighbors managed to get him into the woods behind our houses because he kept getting stuck between fences and injuring himself more trying to jump them.
(He looks fake here, no? I don't know what was up with his mouth.)
I think I was more sad/worried about him than Isabelle. She wanted to know where its mama was and why it was walking on the road. Then she suggested that maybe a bear would come along and... give it a ride on its back.
